The Ministry of Education gave approval for the establishment of \u201cSchool of Financial Technology\u201d on May 11, 2017. The School has been operating since the first semester of 2017. \u201cSOCIAL SCIENCE BUILDING II\u201d on Taoyuan Campus was renamed as FINANCIAL TECHNOLOGY BUILDING.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

FinTech covers 6 major fields:
\n1. Payment
\n2. Lending\/borrowing
\n3. Funding
\n4. Insurance
\n5. Investment management
\n6. Market information service<\/p>\n

\nTo cultivate students to be equipped with 3 major capabilities:

\n3. Creative thinking and innovative service To help students enter the industries desired<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

FinTech lets \u201cFinancial Inclusion\u201d really come true. Not only traditional financial industries participate in this new trend, aiming at winning big market share, but also more and more startup companies appear in the market. This new era has brought many diverse products and services, and created a lot of jobs which never existed before.<\/span><\/div>

The courses offered are designed to help students keep up with current trends in FinTech.<\/p>\n

The two stages of coursework include basic courses in the student's department as the first stage and the second stage is practicums.<\/p>\n
